Gee Maria, thanks for that news flash! All those boring rock groups like Roxy Music, Patti Smith, Hackamore Brick ('n the list goes on and on) and lousy tee-vee shows and movies that came outta the seventies were nothing but part of a horrid fifties/sixties "revival"! Really, I never would've known that the seventies were such a duff period in time had you not responded to this post (which led me to look up your own wonderful blog!) And although I may look pretentious/priggish/geeky to you, it's a whole lot better'n looking like the asshole your note/blog make you out to be. Sorry.
(Note: the previous two posts were excised by me because frankly, they were much too kind! I get that way sometimes.)

Please stop glorifying the 70s.
The era played host to various revivals - including 1950s and 1960s, and sounds introduced in the 60s are not "70s".
You are, to my mind, sometimes coming across as pretentious and priggish, not to mention geeky. Sorry.
